The Real Housewives of Atlanta Star NeNe Leakes has drama to deal with with in her Real life.

Leakes’ eldest son, Bryson Bryant, was arrested Tuesday on a charge stemming from an earlier arrest for possession of a controlled substance and carrying a weapon while at Gwinnett County Jail, the Daily News has learned.

He posted a $5,700 bond and was reportedly released from a Gwinnett County Detention Center in Atlanta at 3:35 a.m.This marks the second arrest for Bryant, who has appeared on several “Housewives” episodes alongside his mother.

According to a law enforcement official, Bryant was visiting a jail inmate on March 7 when deputies learned that he had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear on a traffic charge.
“When he was arrested, deputies discovered a small amount of marijuana on him,” the official said. “He was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.”

Bryant also should have been charged with crossing a guard line while in possession of drugs, however there was apparently a miscommunication between a deputy and a supervisor regarding that matter. “The deputy took out the charge later, but Mr. Bryant had already bonded out of jail,” the official said.

Once he was made aware of the new warrant on the additional charge of crossing the guard line, Bryant is said to have turned himself in.

At the time of the first arrest, Leakes issued a statement, calling her son’s arrest a “family issue.”
“Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson,” she said. “My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order.”

Okay, let’s get this straight.  Bryson went to visit a friend in Prison and took marijuana and a weapon with him (so he could be safe and relaxed?).  To Prison?  Amazing.  Sometimes, people need to just take a few minutes and think about what they are going to do, before they do it.  Because if Bryson had just paused and thought about how stupid it is for anyone to bring a weapon into a Prison, he would have stayed home and rehearsed some spontaneous lines for his Mom’s Reality show.  And when that doesn’t work, call someone and get a Reality check.  Now, Rollo from down the street might tell him to go on an take that Gun and that week to jail, so they can arrest you.  But most people will tell him to stay his butt home.  Actually,  Bryson is another victim of ‘Keeping it Real gone too far’.

Or is this another case of building interest for the upcoming Season of RHOA?
