Tonight, The Top 4 will perform 3 dances to win their place in the finals.  As I look at the top four, all I can think of is how great Kirstie looks!  DWTS is the best decision that she has made in the last few years to conquer her weight.

We learn that Kym Johnson hurt herself during a rehearsal and that she almost wasn’t able to perform tonight.

Ralph and Karina:  They danced the Argentine Tango.  Ralph knows that he got by last week, with the hair on his chinny chin chin because of his fans, so he is hoping to excel, so that he can prove that he deserves to be in the Top 3.  Wow, Ralph is really into this, he is willing to wear underwear that will enhance his butt, so that he has something to shake.  Can we say TMI.  Tonight, I think that the Karate Kid is back.  The Tango is his Dance! He totally got into character, but he could have really gotten into the passion to make this dance complete.  I really enjoyed it.  Standing O.  Len:    It lacked a little emotion, didn’t smolder, but he liked the set up of the dance.  You did a really good job.  Bruno:  Something was stirring, but once you got hold of her, you were slightly deterred.  Flat interpretation.  This is the semi final.  Sorry.  Carrie Ann:  Glad you are dancing and not in pain.  She agrees with Bruno.  You have to get the emotion in the dance.  She would like to see it all connect.  This is constructive criticism.  (MAC-8)   Carrie Ann-8, Len-9, Bruno-8=25 out of 30.   Video

Kirstie and Maks:  They danced the Viennese Waltz.  Maks and Kirstie had a lot of drama in rehearsal.  Kirstie threw a serious temper tantrum that reminded me of her role in ‘Look Who’s Talking’, only Maks wasn’t laughing like John Travolta.  I love to watch Kirstie dance.  She has a way of immersing herself into the character and it is so beautiful to watch.  Bruno:  Set sail beautifully.  Majestic clipper riding the waves.  Well done and he liked that she didn‘t lose her timing.  Carrie Ann:  You do something that is really magical.  Len:  Beautiful posture.  Lovely sweeping motion.  You did well!  Well Done.  (MAC-9)  Carrie Ann- 9, Len-9, Bruno-9=27  Video

Chelsea and Mark:  They danced the Argentine Tango.  Mark really was demanding of Chelsea and I think that she missed her cue to run from the rehearsal and cause a ruckus.  Look at Chelsea!  Bringing all of the sex appeal that the Tango calls for!  Fantabulous!  I love it.  Standing O and they sooooo deserve it.  Carrie Ann- WE are in the semi finals.  You are such a fantastic dancer, that was not up to par.  (boos from the crowd).  Len:  She is right, legs lacked a little authority.  Clean, precise.  Lifts were right in character.  Well done.  Bruno (out his seat).  He knows how you played it and you played it well.  Bruno is out of his seat and to sum all of his antics up Well Done!  (MAC-10)  Carrie Ann-9, Len-9, Bruno-10=28 out of 30  Video

Hines and Kym:  They danced the Argentine  Tango.  OMG, they show the dance routine where Kym was injured.  Jeeze Louise!  It looked soooo painful!  I don’t know how she is dancing tonight.  That is some serious pain medicine that Kym must be taking, because she is moving like she is not feeling anything.  Instead, it looks like she is feeling sexy.  Hot dance!  I’m Happy for that they nailed the character of the dance.  Len:  He felt like he was there in the club.    It was Karma sutra!  That is a tango.  Bruno:  Every emotion was there for the taking.  This was the battle of the will between a man and woman.  It was like good sex!  You never want it to end.  Carrie Ann:  She is happy that Kym is ok.  So impressed with the routine and how Hines partnered her.  The dance was stunning.  The emotional quality warrants a 10 from MAC.  Hines is tearful.  This is moving.  10’s from all the Judges.  30 out of 30!!!  Video

Round 2

We get some background information from the kids with a lot of photos and interviews with their parents.

Ralph and Karina: They danced the Salsa.   Can I just say that Ralph just seems like the nicest and normal guy in the world?  His video package makes you like him even more.    This salsa has a 70’s theme to it.  Oh wow….Ralph has his Jlo/Beyonce underwear on.  I just don’t think that was necessary!  Or maybe they just shouldn’t have told us about them.  I thought this was a fun routine.  Len:  You are committed, but there was no rhythym.  It shows that you are trying too hard  in your face.  Bruno:  definitely went for a bad ass salsa, you are wearing an extra large diaper (ouch).  Something he said about her being a Pussycat(?) offended Karina.  Carrie Ann:  Oddly, I liked it.  She liked the booty pad.  Yes, your technique went out, but you had the most fun.  (MAC-7)  Carrie 8, Len-7, Bruno-8=  23  48 out of 60  Video

Kirstie and Maks:  They danced the Paso Doble.   I wasn’t  a fan of this one.  Because she is such a sexy woman, I was expecting a lot more fire from Kirstie.  For me, this dance was just ok.  I didn’t see the aggression that I usually enjoy in the Paso.  Bruno:  This was the wrath of Kirstie.  You were going like a force of nature.  The Paso was there all the way through.  Carrie Ann  You’re the Queen of the Paso Doble.  That was fantastic.  Len:  You had the two toughest dance and you have come out and danced fabulous.  (MAC-8)  Carrie Ann-9, Len-9, Bruno-9= 27  Video

Chelsea and Mark:  They danced the Rumba.  I love the dramatic entrance.  Very passionate Rumba.   Chelsea is such a good dancer.  Love her and the choreography (there were a couple of strange moves in there, but they were mere hiccups in comparison to the whole routine)  Carrie Ann-That’s what I’m talking about.  Full commitment to movement.  Len:  It had movement and lovely feet.  Tonight you have fulfilled your potential.  Bruno:  It was romantic and erotic.  Perfectly pitched.  (MAC-10) Carrie Ann-10, Len-10, Bruno-10= 30   video

Hines and Kym:  They danced the  Salsa.   Hines’ background story was really touching.  I really like him and how positive he was.  There are some really nice people on DWTS this season.  This guy has got heart!  You can’t help but enjoy Hines when he dances.  He is infectious!  Len:  You was steaming and I was beaming.  You dance with joy.  Bruno:  Just one sentence can describe you:  You’re just beautiful.  Carrie Ann:  Can’t even explain how much joy she has when he dances.  (MAC-9)  Carrie Ann- 10, Len-10, Bruno-10  30 out of 30   Video

First time 2 pairs will compete each other in a Cha Cha Cha.  2 winners of  that dance off will compete against each other and win 15 points.

Hines and Kym compete against Ralph and Karina.  I would say that Hines an Kym won that round.   The Judges agree!  Hines and Kym advance!  Video

Chelsea and Mark compete against Kirstie and Maks.  This round goes to Chelsea and Mark.  Kirstie was good with her moves most of the time, but she missed a couple of steps.  The judges agree! For some reason, Maks plants a kiss on Tom?  Video

Chelsea and Mark take on Hines and Kym.   Both great!  But Chelsea and Mark’s technique is flawless!  Chelsea and Mark win the 15 points!   Video  Video
