Shakira and Her Boyfriend Break Up

 

Shakira and her Boyfriend Antonio de la Rua have parted ways.  The 33 year old Columbian Singer posted this open letter on her blog to let her fans know of the Break up:

Dear Friends,

During our almost 11 years together we have loved each other deeply, taken care of each other and stood by one another. They have been the most wonderful years of our lives, and thanks to that love and the respect that we share for one another we have been an exceptional couple and partners.

However, since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship. Throughout this time we have continued to work together hand in hand, have remained close and have kept the details absolutely private until now.

We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives.  

Antonio continues to oversee and conduct my business and career interests as he has always done. We move forward as partners, developing projects together, working hand in hand and in close communication. Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible.

We would like to advise that we will not be giving interviews or making more statements with respect to this matter and we appreciate in advance your understanding and respect during this sensitive time in our lives.

Although there are alot of perks to being a Celebrity; this part of it must be hard, you always have to give public statements about what you are doing.  When I break up with someone, I don’t want to talk to anyone! 

Governor Mark Sanford Eventually Gives Apology

 

Governor Mark Sanford had to come clean today and admit that he in Argentina having an affair with a woman (who was not his wife) for 5 days.  Originally, Sanford had claimed that while he was out hiking along the Appalachian Mountains by himself and that he was stunned that people (including his wife) were so concerned that he seemed to have gone missing.  Seriously, I’m having difficulty believing that any intelligent person would come up with such a ridiculous story to account for his absence.

Anyway, Sanford kind of rambles on for a while, before he gets into his apology.  Man, this guy is a great Apologizer.  He must mess up alot and have ample opportunities to take responsibility for his wrongdoings, because he apologized to everybody.  Of course, we don’t know how the main people in his life like his Wife and kids are taking his apology, but I’m thinking there are at least two people that were not buying his apology.  Those two young women who are positioned to the left of his shoulder.   Look at their faces while he admits his discretions, they are cracking up.  I don’t know if they have some bets out on the Governor’s discretions, but they are smiling like its money that they are winning.

Kelis files for Divorce from Nas and she is 7 months Pregnant!

 

 

Wow, I guess when it is time to go, it doesn’t matter what our physical or emotional condition is.  Kelis must really be fed up to file to divorce Rap Star Nas when she is two months away from giving birth to his child:

Vibe Magazine confirmed today that hip hop couple Nas and Kelis has called it quits after 3 years of marriage.

“I can confirm that she has filed for divorce,” a spokesperson for Kelis told VIBE. “We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.” Attorney Laura Wasser (Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, and Stevie Wonder) filed a divorce petition today on behalf of Kelis, citing irreconciable differences.

I do remember that before they announced the pregnancy, it seemed that they were having some difficult times, but then it seemed like they worked it out.  Well, you never know, they might work it out!

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman Break Up Again!

 

 

It was reported that Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have called it quits again!  These two are on and off so much, they will probably marry soon.  They started dating 6 years ago, broke up last July and then they reunited a few Months ago.  A source says, “Sarah initiated the split this time. He’s bummed. He’s really blue — very down. Seems like it’s over for good this time. He’s sad because he just bought a new place and now has nobody to share it with.”

Yes, by the end of the year, I predict these two will marry.  Jimmy was married previously for 14 years.  Sarah has never been married and it was reported that she won’t marry until gay marriage is legalized.  I’m not sure what her reasoning is behind that (I know she wants to show her support), but still…

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady Get Married!

Supermodel Gisele and NFL Star got married today at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif.  Usmagazine.com confirms:

The bride, 28, donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.

 The ceremony — which began at dusk — was “very small and intimate,” a source tells Us, adding that guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady’s son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.

 The two have been dating since 2006 and it was reported that they became engaged in December 2008, although Gisele denied it!  Now that I think about it, his father was adamant that there would be no wedding, because he didn’t know anything about it.  I guess he knows about it now.  Anyway, Congratulations to the Beautiful Couple!

NeYo discussed his thoughts about the Violent incident that occurred between Rihanna and Chris Brown.  He reported that he didn’t want to make any comments prematurely, before he was able to speak with his friends and make sure that they were okay.  I think that his response is well said and thought out.

“I wanted to talk to them before I made a comment,” he said about the much-publicized incident that occurred several hours before the Grammy Awards on February 8. Brown turned himself in to police during the awards show and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and released. “I spoke to Rihanna. She says she’s fine. She didn’t go into detail about what happened. I understand it’s a painful situation; I didn’t push.

“Like so many of Rihanna’s fans, friends and family members, Ne-Yo said he was grief-stricken after viewing the recently leaked photo of a bruised and apparently battered Rihanna shortly after her altercation with Brown.  “I saw the picture,” he said solemnly. “That just really — that hurt me to my heart, man. Again, I still don’t know what happened, ’cause I haven’t had the opportunity to talk to Chris yet. But to take it to that level really hurt my heart. All I can say is, I’m praying for both of them. They’re both in my prayers. I haven’t had a chance to talk to Chris yet. I just wanna sit down and talk to that dude and just explain if he doesn’t understand: ‘That’s not something that’s excusable, bruh. You have to get a little smarter about whatever it is going on in your relationship. You have to get a little smarter about how you handle certain situations.’ “

Still, Ne-Yo refused to be Brown’s judge and jury. “I’m not going to crucify him,” Ne-Yo said. “I’m not going to do that. That’s still my homeboy at the end of the day. For it to go to that level was wrong. I won’t say who was responsible. I won’t pick no sides. I’m just saying it was wrong [that] it had to happen like that, and I’m praying for the both of them.”

US Magazine is reporting that Brian Austin Green, 35 and Megan Fox, 22 have called it splits.  There have been some reports that there was trouble in paradise for some time.  The two have been together since 2004 and they have matching tattoos (maybe these couples should stop getting these tattoos until they at least say I do) and they have been engaged since November 2006.

Break-ups can happen to anyone, but I am not that surprised by this one.  He was a hottie back in the 90210 glory days,  but that was a long time ago.  It seems that it would be difficult to be with the current Hottie of the Moment.  I mean once Megan did Transformers and it was such a huge hit, it was just a matter of time.

Last November, Fox told Us that the wedding plans were still on.  “It’s not going to be a big wedding,” she told Us at a GQ bash. “I’m not one of those girls. If it happens, it will be very low-key and quick and unplanned.”

Check her wording, she didn’t say when her wedding happens, she said ‘if’.  Those little things usually mean something.
