American Idol Finale Recap 5/25/11

Ryan reports that over 122 milliona voted last night to decide who the American Idol Winner will be tonight.

Our Finalists Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery take the floor.    We see footage of their hometown’s  UTC McKenzie Arena and RBC Center in Raleigh, NC showing their support for their American Idol.

Hilarious! I always love when Justin Timberlake visits SNL!! You can always bet there will be a great Digital Short. Lady Gaga Threatens lawsuit over ‘Baby Gaga’ Breast Milk Ice C

Another Unbelievable but true story! Really? Lady Gaga may have to sue ‘The Ice Creamist Designer Ice Cream Parlor’ in Covent Garden, London, because they have marketed a new Ice Cream called ‘Baby Gaga’. That’s not so bad, right? Here is the gross unbelievable factor, the ice cream is supposed to be made with real breast milk. What? Where did they get the milk from? Who volunteers their breast milk to be an ingredient in ice cream?

Lady Gaga’s Lawyers are reporting that the flavor is ‘nausea inducing’. Well…..yes, I would have to believe so. Currently, the flavor is being investigated by the Health Department, so it is unavailable to the public.  More importantly…..who was buying it? I guess the ice cream is considered a delicacy (no doubt with all that Mother’s milk) and cost $22.50 a serving.   I cannot even make this up. There are some really nasty people out there! Who would eat ice cream with a stranger’s breast milk in it? EWWW

Actually, Nikki Minaj actually has her own team of Creative Consultants working around the clock as well to make sure that her look has everyone talking.

Lady Gaga Covers ‘Vogue’

 Lady Gaga graces the March cover of  ‘Vogue’ where they explore the ‘Lady of Pop’.   I love the high fashion looks that they put on Ms Gaga and that you can tell that the Interviewer is a true Fan and the time is taken to give a more complete view of the Pop Star’s life and who she really is. 

How appropriate—how accurate!—her name is. It is more of a title, really, one she bestowed upon herself mere moments before she became so insanely famous. The Gaga half makes immediate, intuitive sense, an utterance that sounds like an infant’s first word but is, in fact, French and means, essentially, to be utterly enthralled by something—excited to the point of being touched by madness. (That it describes both the pop star and her uniquely obsessed fans makes it even more perfect.) But it is the Lady part of her name that has gone underexplored.

Digital Death of Hollywood Celebrities For AIDS Fundraising

Many of Hollywood Celebrities have signed off of Twitter, Myspace and Facebook in a fundraising effort to raise money in support of finding a cure towards AIDS.  The fans can bring back their favorite  Celebs back to the Social Network Sites by making donations to buylife.org for World AIDS Day on December 1st.   When the donations reach $1 million Dollars, The Stars will return to the sites.   This campaign is being Spearheaded by Alicia Keys and her Keep Child Alive Non-Profit.  The Celebrities participating in this movement include:  Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams, Swizz Beatz, P Diddy, Serena Williams, Janelle Monae, Kimberly Cole, David LaChapelle, Daphne Guinness and Bronson Pelletier. 

I’m sure that they will be successful in reaching their goals.  Laying in the coffin is a little creepy to me, but I definitely admire their efforts and commitment.

Lady GaGa Pays Last Respect to Grandfather

 Stefani ‘Lady Gaga’ Germanotta attended her Grandfather Giuseppe Germanotta’s Funeral.   Church Services were held for her 88 year old Grandfather who she described as ‘Perfect’ at the St. Pius X Church in Montville, New Jersey.  Lady Gaga was supported by her on again then off again Boyfriend Luc Carl. 

On Sunday, Lady Gaga tweeted, ‘Having a Perfect Manhattan for my Perfect Guy.  Love you Giuseppe.

Mr. Giuseppe is survived by his wife Angeline of 57 years, his son Joseph and his two Granddaughters Stefani and Natali.

American Idol Results 5/5/10

Last night, The Contestants took on the music of the Great Frank Sinatra and they were mentored by Harry Connick Jr.  Lee and Michael really shined while the other contestants did just okay.    It’s anyone guess who is going home.  But 32 million votes came in, so lets see.  DWTS has taken the #1 spot from American Idol for the past few weeks, so I’m wondering what the future of American Idol looks like.

The Idols perform a Medley  of Frank Sinatra’s songs  Video.  I know I gripe about the medley each week, but I honestly don’t know why the medley still exist in the show.  Hated it!

Lady Gaga Cancels Concert due to Illness

TMZ is reporting that Lady Gaga cancelled her concert on Purdue University tonight due to illness.  After her opening acts performed, it was announced that Lady Gaga would not be performing.  Paramedics arrived to try to tend to the singer, but they were turned away.  The concert has been rescheduled to January 26th.

I hope she is feeling better soon.  She must have been really sick to bail on a performance, because inspite of her eccentric ways, she seems pretty dedicated to her fans.

Although, when she does return, she will probably give an awesome show to make the fans forget their inconvenience.
