31st Annual 2008 Kennedy Center Honors

 

 The Kennedy Center for the Kennedy Center Honors on December 7, 2008 in Washington, DC. In its 31st year, the Kennedy Center Honors recognizes honorees for their lifetime contributions to American culture through the performing arts.

The 2008 Kennedy Center honorees, (back-L-R) Singer Roger Daltrey, guitarist Pete Townshend, country music singer George Jones (front-L-R) dancer and choreographer Twyla Tharp, actor Morgan Freeman and actress/singer Barbra Streisand pose for the formal group photo.

Oprah is set to film her show in D.C. for Obama Inauguration!

Oprah Winfrey, The Media Mogul is taking her ‘Oprah Winfrey Show’ to Washington D.C. the entire week of the Presidential Inauguration to capture it all.  She has rented out the Opera Show at The Kennedy Center for the filming.
