Mickey Rourke had a glass of Hater-aide!

  

Although Mickey Rourke apparently nailed his role in ‘The Wrestler’, he must be a little worried about Sean Penn’s performance in ‘Milk’.  Both men have been receiving some possible ‘Oscar Buzz’ for their roles in their latest films.   ‘The Daily Beast’ is reporting that:

After his December 23 appearance on David Letterman, Rourke told someone backstage that he was surprised that so many people seemed to think that Penn was his Oscar competition since “I’m not even sure he’ll get a nomination.”

On December 28, a Los Angeles entertainment honcho shared a text message with me that Rourke had sent him: “Look seans an old friend of mine and i didnt buy his performance at all—thought he did an average pretend acting like he was gay besides hes one of the most homophobic people i kno”

So, what Mickey is saying is that even though Sean Penn hates gay people, he decided to play an openly gay political figure?  Am I the only one thinks that that makes no sense?  Or is Mickey trying to let us know just how talented Sean is that he can tackle anything no matter what his personal feelings are?  I don’t know about this one.  But I do detect a little haterism on Mickey’s part.  Worry about yourself and you should be okay.

Rourke’s publicist says “there is no Oscar feud between Mickey and Sean. They have known each other and been friends for a very long time. Mickey attended the New York premiere of Milk to support Sean and only has the greatest respect for him.” She adds that Rourke is ”completely unaware of the text.”

I love it!  Even if it came from your phone, you can deny a text message!  No positive proof!  His assistant picked up his phone and decided to send out messages hating on Sean Penn.  Gotta love Hollywood.

These people are truly getting their groove on.  I enjoy the local Reggae club, but I have never seen all this here!  I would be scared to get up from my chair, someone might impregnate me!  I know that the dancing is cultural…..but Damn!  Get a room!

Diddy handing out Free Cab Rides on New Year’s Eve!

 

Entertainment Mogul  and Ciroc Vodka Pitch Man Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs wants New York Party Goers to drink freely on New Year’s Eve and get home safely.  Diddy has teamed with Ciroc and the City’s Taxi and Limosine service to give away thousands of  free rides to tipsy New Yorkers. 

New York is the world’s most iconic New Year’s Eve city, so let’s lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely,” Combs said.

Thousands of $15 debit cards that can be redeemed for single taxi rides will be handed out by Ciroc street teams in Times Square and in Chelsea beginning at 11 p.m. Wednesday night.

The cards will be doled out until 3 a.m. New Year’s Day, or until the supply runs out.

This is a great idea!  I hope that other cities will follow suit and help to make sure that everyone can get home safely.  I gotta give it to Diddy, he is always finding a way to get his name out there.  His Pitch (along with Ciroc)  to the City of New York Mayor to turn the New Year’s Eve Ball Ciroc Blue for 1 million dollars was turned down flat, so Diddy being the resilient Man  that he is found a new way to have People thinking of him and Ciroc on New Year’s Eve.  Smart Cookie!

Woody Harrelson gets Married!

 

 

Woody Harrelson finally married his longtime love Laurie Louie on the Island of Maui on Sunday.  The couple have been together for 20 years and they have three daughters Makani Ravello, 2, Zoe Giordano, 12 and Deni Montana, 14.  The private wedding took place near Harrelson’s home in Kipahulu, Maui around 4.30 p.m. local time. An hour later a large cheer could be heard by nearby hikers.   They tied the knot in front of a small group of family and friends, including actor Owen Wilson, Willie Nelson and Sean Penn. Alanis Morissette sang at the ceremony.

20 years?  Wow, wonder what made them do it now?  Obviously they are committed to one another.  I think that Woody’s proposal went a little like the Run DMC song ‘Let’s get Married’ Meet me at the Altar in your White Dress, We ain’t getting no younger, we might as well do this.  Yes, pretty much all the romance is gone when you propose after 20 years.  But hey, he still says that she is still the yin to his yang, so it doesn’t get much better to that!

John Legend brought in his 30th Birthday surrounded by his constant companion Girlfriend Christine Teigen and friends & family at The Lucky Lanes in NYC.  I am loving the personalized bowling ball and the piano cake!

Bristol is a Mommy!

 

Governor Sarah Palin’s Daughter Bristol has given birth to a son.  Bristol and her fiance Levi  Johnston welcomed their first child Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston (where do they get these first names from).  Their 7lb 4oz son was born on Sunday in Palmer, Alaska.  The couple plan to be married next year.  While they are adjusting to their new addition, Levi is working as an Electrician Apprentice and she is finishing her high school education in an online education course.

Jaimee Foxworth is a Preggo!

 

 

Jaimee Foxworth is 5 months Pregnant!  Remember her?  She played Judy on ‘Family Matters’.   No one else did either until she went onto Celebrity Rehab!  In the past, she struggled with drug addicitions and starred in several adult films, but now she is clean and on the right path.  Jaimee told People:

“I haven’t been this happy in years…I am excited about what the future holds for us. Being sober has opened my eyes to a whole new world,” she says. “I’ve been through a lot of pain in the past and I never really wanted a child until recently. I now look forward to years of joy to share with my child.”

I’m happy to see her doing better.  I partly blame ‘Family Matters’ for the hard times that she fell on.  They sent that girl upstairs and they never rewrote her coming back down the stairs!  That had to be hard!

More Rumors about a Break-up for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony

 

 

As I reported before, there have been several rumors that J-Lo and hubby Marc Anthony are headed for splitsville.  Now, a break up date has been estimated.  There are several reports that they are planning to announce their divorce following Marc Anthony’s Madison Garden Concert on Valentine’s Day.  Jennifer is scheduled to come out and join him for a duet on stage.  I’ve even heard reports that they may announce it after their performance on stage.  I don’t know about this one.  Jennifer does appear to like Hollywood Drama and a stint like this is pure 90210 Material, so maybe there is some fire from all of this smoke screening!
